Wentzville School District REACH Adaptive Learning Center
Designing environments for highly specialized learners presents a unique set of challenges. Safety, sensory needs, durability, flexibility, and staff workflow must all be addressed simultaneously, often with little margin for error.
This case study examines the REACH Adaptive Learning Center in Wentzville, Missouri, and how a fully customized, test-and-learn approach to furniture and space planning helped transform a program previously housed in a non-purpose-built facility into an environment designed to truly support students, staff, and long-term program growth.
